Greece’s leading airline, AEGEAN Airlines, will commence new direct flights to Athens from Newcastle Airport, starting this Summmer. This exciting development opens up a world of possibilities for avid adventurers and culture seekers in the North East of England.

AEGEAN had announced that it will operate flights to Athens twice a week beginning in mid-June and continuing until mid-September. However, this has since been extended until 25th October due to soaring demand. The flights will depart every Wednesday and Sunday, starting on 14th June 2023.
