I believe that travelling to another destination, whether close by or across the world, should be a mandatory part of every person’s education. Age is not a factor, nor is distance a factor. Mark Twain’s quotation mentioned above states that travel has the incredible ability to broaden our minds as well as teach us compassion and empathy for those who are not as fortunate as we are.
